Interlock Compliant Data Migration (ICDM)

Interlock takes a unique approach to the process of data migration. As opposed to other migration vendors that migrate data through the host and application, Interlock goes "behind" the application, taking full advantage of the parallelism in architectures like EMC Centera enabling data migration speeds typically between 3-6 TB/day.

• Non-Intrusive - we are very cognizant of how important it is to keep you at your operational efficiency without impacting your business. After debriefing with the customer, we schedule our migration rates to avoid putting any kind of performance hit on your operations.
• No Risk to Data Loss - Interlock does not do any deletes, as we only do copies. Your original data source is left intact on it's original CAS source. 
• Need for Speed - enterprise archives are big and growing larger every day. The amount of time that it takes to migrate such mountains of data should be weeks, not months or even years to accomplish. Interlock's focus on a hardware oriented migration service makes that a reality. 
• Real Time Migration Portal - we provide a real-time migration portal that allows you to see what is occurring during a migration. Also available are a number of canned reports that visualizes your data in an SRM (storage resource management) type manner as the migration progresses.
